60 + 45 + x = 180 (angles of a triangle)

then, x = 180 - 60 + 45

        x = 180 - 105

        x = 75

y = 180 - 45 (Linear pair)

y = 135.

Hope it helps...

Answer:

In this triangle,

=) 60 + 45 + x= 180

By angle sum property,

So, 105 + x = 180

=) x= 180 - 105

=) x= 75

Now, angle y is exterior to the triangle so,

=) 45 + y = 180

Angle on a straight line,

=) y = 180 - 45

=) y = 135

You can find y by other method too

60 + x = y

Sum of opposite angles of triangle is equal to exterior angle

Now, x = 75 so,

60 + 75 = y

135 = y
