It's quite easy bro

Let's first name the triangle so that it become easy

Given: Triangle ABC , Angle(L) C = 40 , L A is not given

L B = x

As it's Isosceles triangle(ABC) .... you must be knowing the property of Isosceles triangle which says angles opposite to equal sides are equal

This means :

  • L A = L C
  • L A = 40

So we can Conclude

L A = 40

L C = 40

L B = x ( which we have to find)

By using ASP of triangle we can find x easily

So

40degree + 40degree + x = 180degrees

80degree + x = 180 degrees

x = 180 - 80

x = 100°
