AB║CD and PR is the transversal.

Here, ∠APQ = ∠PRD  ( Interior opposite angles are equal)
So 60 + x = 137
x = 137 - 60
x = 77°

Now PRQ is a triangle and PRD is the exterior angle of that triangle.

We know x + y = 137
77 + y = 137
y = 137 - 77
y = 60°

So your required answer is x = 77° and y = 60°
