Here draw AD line.

Now, <ADB=90°(interior angle of semi circle)

Let AD and AB line intersect at point O.

Then, ∆OAD and ∆OBC are similar ; so <OCB=<OAD=40°

NOW, in ∆BAD, <D=90°, <A=40°

Therefore, <B=180-(90+40) =50.

As AB||DE, and BD is the line connecting both so,

<ABD=<BDE=50°, WHICH IS THE VALUE OF X.
