Step-by-step explanation:

angle pqs+angle qsf=180

or , angle pqs+angle ref=180,as angle qsf=angle for

or,60 + angle rfe=180

therefore angle ref=120 .

Given:

  • PQ || RS and EF || QS
  • ∠PQS = 60°

To Find:

  • The value of angle RFE.

Solution:

By looking at the figure we can say that,

∠PQS + ∠QSR = 180° {since PQ || RS}

Substitute the given values in the above formula,

⇒ 60° + ∠QSR = 180° {shifting of variables and numericals in one side}

⇒ ∠QSR = 180°-60°  {subtracting the terms on RHS}

⇒ ∠QSR = 120°

Since EF || QS, ∠QSR = ∠RFE = 120° {corresponding angles are same}

⇒ ∠RFE = 120°

∴ The value  ∠RFE = 120°
