Question:-

In the given figure triangle PQR side PQ and PR are produced to form the exterior angles as marked. Find the measure of the angles x, y and z.

Answer:-

In the given figure PR is a straight line.

So, 130° + z = 180°

→ z = 180° - 130°

→ z = 50°

We know angle of sum property is 180°

So, P + Q + R = 180°

→ 30° + y + 50° = 180°

→ 80° + y = 180°

→ y = 180° - 80°

→ y = 100°

In the given figure PT is a straight line.

So, 100° + x = 180°

→ x = 180° - 100°

→ x = 80°

So the measure of angle x is 80 degree y is 100 degree there is 50 degree
