Area = ( 180 + 36π ) cm^2.

Given

To find the area.

Two semi-circular, diameter = 12 cm.

Where, semi-circle diameter = breadth of the rectangle

             Rectangular, length = 15 cm.   -----> ( Given )

             Rectangular, breadth = 12 cm.

             Area of rectangle = length × breadth

                                           = 15 × 12

             Area of rectangle = 180 cm^2.

             Area of semi-circle = πr^2/2.

             Diameter = 12 cm

             Radius, ( r ) = 12 / 2 = 6 cm

                                             = π×6×6/2

                                             = 3×6×π

             Area of semi-circle = 18π cm^2

From the given data there are two semi-circles.

Hence,   Area of 2 semi-circles = 2×18π

                                                    = 36π.

              Area of 2 semi-circles = 36π cm^2

             Total area = Area of rectangle + Area of 2 semi-circle

                               =      180  +  36π

Therefore, total area = ( 180+36π )cm^2.
