Given,

A quadrilateral with the four exterior angles as follows: 66a°, 56a°, 31a° and 27a°

To find,

The value of a.

Solution,

The value of a is 2.

We can easily solve this problem by following the given steps.

According to the question,

We have four exterior angles of a quadrilateral: 66a°, 56a°, 31a° and 27a°.

We know that the sum of the exterior angles of a quadrilateral is 360°. (Note that sum of all the angles of a quadrilateral is also 360° and the an angle made on a line is 180°.)

So,

(66a + 56a + 31a + 27a) = 360

(180a)° = 360°

a = 360/180

a = 2

Hence, the value of a is 2.
