XYZ is right angled triangle so,

(XZ)² = (XY)² + (YZ)²

(13)² = (XY)² + (5)²

(XY)² = (13)²-(5)²

XY  =  \sqrt{169-25}

XY   =  \sqrt{144}

XY  =   12

it is given that perimeter of ΔXYZ = perimeter of ║ABCD

therefore,       XY+YZ+ZX = AB+BC+CD+AD

                         12+ 5+ 13  = 10+ BC+ 10+ AD

                                      30= 20+ 2(AD)................................( as AD = BC)

                               30-20 = 2(AD)

                                      10 = 2(AD)

                                     AD= 10/2

                                     AD= 5 cm
