Step-by-step explanation:
According to the question,
Each row,column and diagonal gives the same sum, which means if we can figure the sum of any one of the rows, columns or diagonals, we can easily find A and B
Right to left diagonal,
Sum = 1 + (-2) + (-5) = -6
First row, Sum = -3 + 2 -5 -6
Second column, Sum = 2 - 2 - 6 = -6
The sum is -6 !
Now, for left to right diagonal, the sum is -3 -2 + B = -5 + B
This -5 + B = -6
=> B = -6+5 = -1
Therefore, B = -1
Again, for the first column, sum is -3 + A + 1 = -2 + A
This -2 + A = -6
=> A = -6 +2 = -4
Therefore, A = -4
Difference of A and B
= -4 -1
= -5
