Given- a parallelogram ABCD

- exterior D= 80°

To find - value of angle X,Y,Z

proof-

let angle ADC be M

M+ 80°= 180°( forming linear pair)

M= 180-80

M= 100°

angle ADC= 100°

as we know , opposite angles are equal in a parallelogram

so,

angle ADC= angle ABC ( opp. angle)

= 100°

angle Y= 100°

Sum of all the angles of a quardrilateral is 360°

and parallelogram is also a type of quardrilateral

so,

X= Z ( opp. angle)

X+Y+Z+M= 360 °

X+Z+100+100= 360

2(X)+200= 360

2X= 360-200

2X= 160

X= 160/2

X= 80

Z= 80( proved above)

X= 80°, Y= 100°,Z= 80°
