Answer:

YES DUDE,YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT...SOMETIMES IN THE GRAPH,SPEED AND VELOCITY IS USED IN THE SAME SENSE.LET ME EXPLAIN YOU THE REASON.IN SUCH SITUATIONS,WHERE THE DIRECTION OF THE WHOLE JOURNEY IS SAME(I.E.THE TRAVELLER TRAVELS HIS WHOLE JOURNEY THROUGH THE SAME DIRECTION),THEN VELOCITY AND SPEED ARE CONSIDERED THE SAME.HOWEVER,SPEED IS A SCALAR QUANTITY,BUT VELOCITY IS A VECTOR QUANTITY,HENCE WHEN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVELLING DIFFERS,THEN THESE TWO QUANTITIES DON'T REMAIN THE SAME.

HOPE YOU ARE REALLY HELPED MATE,PLEASE CONSIDER MARKING MY ANSWER AS BRAINLIEST...

Answer:

In such situations, where the direction of the whole journey is same (i.e.the traveller travels his whole journey through the same direction),then velocity and speed are considered the same. However, speed is a scalar quantity, but velocityis a vector quantity, hence when the direction of travelling differs, then these two quantities don't remain the same.
