In the Kerala State Assembly elections held on 16th May 2016 the
assembly constituency of Kochi had 1,71,216 electors in the electoral
list. Of this 83,321 were male electors and the remaining 87,895 were
female electors. There were no third gender electors in the
constituency. Of the 1,23,990 electors who voted in the constituency
for the election 62,800 were male. Even though there were a total of
10 candidates contesting the election, the contest was mainly
between three fronts the LDF, the NDA and the UDF represented by
MrK.J. Maxi, Mr Praveen Damodara Prabhu and Mr Dominic
Presentation respectively. Oncounting the votes polled it was
observed that UDF got 46,881 votes; NDA got 15,212 votes LDF got
47.967 and the remaining candidates put together got 13. 190. Some
electors cast their choice as NOTA (None of the Above). Answer the
