in the laboratory preparation of HCl gas, what will happen if we raise the temperature above 200°C?

If the temperature is above 200 C , then following problems occur -
1) Fuel is wasted.
2) The glass apparatus may tend to crack.
3) The product formed is Na2SO4 , which forms a thick crust on glass apparatus, which is difficult to remove.
