In the midst of chaos and uncertainty are growing some unsung heroes who sacrificed many things and have gone beyond the line of duty for an unwanted host inside the human body, an uninvited guest who was out of control and quiet, but at the same time dangerous and lethal for all living beings. It was November 2019 when a bad news broke out about a virus known as Novel Coronavirus 2019, also known as Covid-19, and on March 2020, lockdown started in India. And the whole world started shaking because this was not the first time that news of an uncontrollable virus broke out. Human civilizations have seen this before several times, but what was critical about it was our unpreparedness. Hence started the chaos that followed after the news broke out. So began the war between an enemy of unknown origin and the human civilization. As the whole world was fighting against the virus, we took the initiative to help people around us. We have many people with comorbidity in our building, and as my parents are doctors, they took care of them as much as they could. We also helped the elderly in our building. When one of our neighbors wasn't feeling well, my father took him to the emergency at 3 in the morning and came back at 1 A.M, the next morning. And even during these times when food was scarce, we somehow managed to share our food with the animals. We tried our best just like everyone else. As lockdown took place, all the schools and offices were closed. And many people were stuck at places away from their families and home. Once my father saw some people collecting twigs. So he went up to them and asked if everything is fine and if they need anything. Then he realized that they are laborers and don't have a home here, and they can't even go back because of lockdown. He got to know that they were collecting twigs to burn fire so that they can cook. But they had very little food, so my father went to a grocery store and bought all the food supplies they needed.
Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person.
On the other hand, the number of people getting positive drastically increased, and the terror spread. From tens to hundreds, and then thousands of people getting positive. The term 'frontline workers' often conjure images of doctors in hazmat suits and soldiers in uniform. But during the coronavirus outbreak, everyone was important and unique, be it hog farm employees or drivers, mental health counselors, guards, mother dairy, sweepers, chemists, vegetable vendors, or police officers. Indeed, doctors are the main heroes of this villainous virus versus humanity war. Doctors were always known as the hero of this world even before the virus broke out, as they helped countless people without noticing if they are appreciated or not.
Medicines cure diseases, but only doctors can cure patients.
In these times, my parents used to switch places to buy essentials from grocery stores. Indeed it was very challenging at some point to carry heavy groceries, but it's just a little associated with those who have suffered because of the virus. The virus has impacted the overall economy of the world, both financially and health-wise. Economic progress– Healthy people live more, are more productive, and save more, resulting in increased investments and economic progress.
Health is the core of human development.
This virus taught us many things. Nothing is permanent, not even this virus, so live humbly, help others, and be kind to the fullest.
When you finally realized that nothing is permanent in this life, you will become more tolerant, more forgiving, and less judgemental.

Please read it whole and tell me if the story is nice. I had to write it for a story writing competition.. Its supposed to be about a person or persons doing extraordinary works during covid 19, so I chose the option parent! Hope you like it! And yes I would be deleting the answers after 1 or 2 days..
