in the parallelogram ABCD. AE is the altitude corresponding to the side BC. CF is the altitude corresponding to the side AB. given that BC=25cm, AE=15cm, CD=20cm. Find CF

Hello Tanya,

To solve this, what I did was find out that FBC and BEA are similar. This means we can find the side lengths by using both triangles. 

25 : 20
  x : 15
  x = 18.75

Then using Pythagorean Theorem, we can find the other side which is about 7. 

18.75 * 7 / 2 = 65
