Answer:

Sum of angles of a triangle = 180°

2x + 3x + 4x = 180°

9x = 180°

x = 180/9

x = 20°

so angle1 = 2x = 2× 20 = 40

angle2 = 3x = 3 × 20 = 60

angle 3 = 4x = 4 × 20 = 80

If the lines are parallel then ther will be alternate interior angles and the value of y will be 3x which is equal to 60°
