artist become more powerfull than king monument becaude if there will be any war .there are chances that it may be destroyed but the articles or poem written by by the artist is not destroyable. it will remain till doomsday

Because, as the poem states, poetry is immortal and nothing the passing time causes can destroy it. But the huge golden monuments of the mightiest kings get destroyed over the elapse of time. Pen is mightier than a sword. And thus, the writer/poet is mightier than the king.
