The reputation of men is described as bubble because is very delicate and can burst any time similarly even men reputation is uncertain and keeps changing according to the situations and circumstances. If it is not permanent and delicate as bubble it is not worth fight for giving up life for it.

In the poem Seven Ages, the poet mentioned the reputation is a good character or it is named as a Bubble.
Every stage in the life of men needs a good reputation. But the mind of the man will change according to their circumstances and thought. For a soldier, dedicating his entire life to the serve the nation is the reputation he has to maintain.
If it is not permanent and delicate as bubble it is not worth fight for giving up life for it.
