in the poem the cold within whose face bespoke revenge. on whom did he want to take revenge. why did he want to take revenge... answer fast plz!!!!!

In the poem,the cold within the black man wants to take revenge from the white man because the Britishers had ruled over them.The only thing he could see in his stick was a revenge.Because if he do not offer his stick to be put in he thinks the white man will die.
