See the poem is a personification of our relationships with people. I don't exactly remember the poem... But the answer for this is that when the poet and his friend have a fight they clear it then and there so they don't have to store any of the hatred. But when the poet fights with his enemy they don't express their emotions and gradually all of it builds up in them .... His tears and fears give nourishment to the poison tree and one day the tree finally bears a fruit - the poison fruit which is the personification of an evil plan..... Hope this helps u Please mark this as the brainliest..
