The neighbouring tree was just beside the cut tree .
The neighbouring tree mourns because it fears that it would meet the same fate like the cut tree.
Actually the tree was cut by Job and Nike and it was 200 years old .
The neighbouring trees thought that one day , they will also be cut .
Also they were sad because one of their comrades died.
That is why they were mourning .
