during sublimation , the solid whose molecules are loosely packed , on passage of little hest starts moving actively nd therefore they directly convert to gaseous state rather than changing to liquid

Anonymous: by exerting pressure not only pressure very high pressure
JAYACHAUDHARY1: no need of high pressure bcoz the molecules are itself loosely packed
Anonymous: in solid molecules are tightly pack go and study class 9 first chapter
JAYACHAUDHARY1: u better relook to its 4th page that sublimable solids have loosely packed molecules
Anonymous: idt
JAYACHAUDHARY1: go to hell

Generally when a solid is heated it is converted into liquid and after heating the liquid it is further converted into gas but there are certain substances in solid state when they are heated instead of being converted into liquid state are converted gaseous state . This process called sublimation and such substance are called sublime substances .
