C) Farthest north the solstice usually occurs when the direct  sun lightis to the farthest north in the southern hemisphere. The sunlight is directed to the farthest north where it is reflected to the southern part making the southern hemisphere to experience summer . When the light is directed to the northern hemisphere part it turns out that the rays are directed to the the southern hemisphere and this the reason behind the southern part experiencing the hot whether while the norther experience the cold one because it the images of the rays that make the place cold.
