Ans- Helen was a ghost.She do not wat that anyone would get scared of her and moreover she was also tired.

I didn't wrote this... Actually i couldn't understand what they are asking why she came/or why she came like that
The answer i wrote is to both that-
She came to announce a strike and in bits and pieces so that john hallock believes that she was a ghost and that she helped him... I m not very sure of the answer..
If they are asking referring to the second meeting of Helen with john then u r right.....(but i don't think that is the case)
