The gender of an infant is a result of the sex gene inherited from the father.
It is not a characteristic.

mousumi6: absolutely correct
dharchika: So it is false?? Whether is it true or false
arushibansal: It is true.
dharchika: Ohk
dharchika: but some of my friends and teachers are saying it is false so pls tell me na
dharchika: f it is false
dharchika: If it is false
arushibansal: acc. to me it should be true. An offspring's gender is a inherited gene from the father while characteristic means a quality. henceforth the statement is correct
arushibansal: kindly check w your science teacher first anyhow
