Ali was an epitome of love and patience. His life changed

dramatically towards the evening of his life. His only child, Miriam married

and left him. She went off with a soldier into his regiment in Punjab. This

left Ali forlorn and devastated. He was completely transformed.

He stopped

hunting partridges and hares. His heart became filled with pain of separation

from his daughters. Now he lived only to get a news of his daughter. He became

quite sensitive to omnipresent love all around. He lived with single purpose;

and that purpose was to receive a letter from his daughter. For five years he

regularly went to the post-office without getting a single letter from his

beloved daughter. Only a man of patience could do that! Alas, he died

without receiving any letter from his daughter!

Answer:

Ali was an excellent hunter. He could not pass a single day without hunting. However, when his daughter married a soldier and left him, he completely changed. For five years, he had no news of his daughter. He realized the meaning of love and suffered the pain of separation. He could no longer enjoy his hunting expeditions. All he could think of, was his daughter. This thought made him visit the post office everyday, hoping that he would get a letter.
