it has to said that distance covered by a body in uniform velocity in time t ,

therefore, the distance covered by the body is

distance  = area \: of \: rectangle \:  +  \: area \: of \: tringle

area of tiangle is= 1/2,× base × height

area of rectangle =l× b

then substituting the value ,

distance covered = 1/2 ×ab×de+ ab × bc
