MNP is a triangle
NQ is a bisector (makes an angle of 90° on both sides)
in triangle MNQ
BY pythagoras theorem
(p)square =(H)square +(B)square
(NQ) perpendicular=?
(MN) hypotenuse=25
(MQ)base=12•5
(p)square=(25)square+(12•5)square
(p)sqaure =625+156•2
(p)square=781•2
(p)=±781•2
(p)= 27•9
now,NQ is 27•9cm
