the sides are (x+3) and (2x-2)

as per square,
(x+3)=(2x-2)
x-2x=-2-3
-x=-5
x=5

substitute x value in the side (x+3)
=(x+3)
=5+3
=8
a=8

area of square=a^2
=8^2
=64sq. cm.

hope it hlps u
