In the triangle of ABCD the value of C=120 degree. find the value of x&y and angle ACB? if the triangle is equilateral.​

ANSWER

△ABC is an equilateral triangle.

∠ABC=60

Now, ∠CBP=180−∠ABC−65 (Angles on a straight line)

∠CBP=55

Similarly, ∠XPB=45

Now, In △YBP

∠YBP+∠YPB+∠BYP=180

∠BYP=180−45−55

∠BYP=80

∠XYC=∠BYP=80

(Vertically opposite angles)

Sum of angles of triangle XYC=180

∠XYC+∠YXC+∠XCY=180 (∠XCY=60, △ABC is an equilateral triangle)

80+60+∠CXY=180

∠CXY=40
