in the triangle pqr is an equilateral triangle. find the length of qr if pr is equal to 4x-7 and pr is equal to 2x+5?

Since pqr is a equilateral triangle so each side is equal to other
So pq=qr
2x+5=4x-7
2x=12
x=6
So qr=4(6)-7
qr=17
pq=pr=rq=17

In an equilateral triangle all sides are equal.
PQ=QR=PR
Now QR =4x-7=2x+5
4x-7 = 2x +5
4x-2x-7=5
2x-7=5
2x=5+7
2x=12
X=6
Now PR=4x-7=4(6)-7=24-7=17
And 2x+5=2(6)+5=17.
Thus the sides of the triangle PQR are 17,17,17 units.
