In towns and cities, borewells have to be dug very deep to get water as compared to borewells of villages. Why?

it is because in village the water level doesn't go so down as compared to town .
in city there is more population and more industry and due to this there consumption of water is more so therefore water level goes down

Because in towns and cities there r huge no. Of people as well as large no. Of borelwells this two causes decrease in water under the ground... So they have to dug deeper to find water...
