in traingle pqr , <q =90° and Qm is perpendicular to pr. prove that:
1, pq 2 = pm* PR
2, Qr 2 = PR*Mr
3, pq 2 + Qr 2 = PR 2

in triangle pqm and triqngke pqr
angle qmp=<pqr. 90
<p=<p. commn
triangle pqm ~pqr AA
pq/pr=pm/pq
so pq2=pm*pq
triangle qrm a.d pqr
angle qmr=<q 90
ang r=r
qmr~pqr. AA
qr/pr =mr/qr
qr2=pr*mr
adding 1 and 2
pq2+qr2 =pm*pr+pr*mr
pr(pm+mr)=pr(pr)=pr2
hope this helps....
