Your Q. is not written properly...

But I'll still answer...

If u think the answer is wrong then post it again...

Explaination:-

Given in the Q,

AB = 12cm

BC = 9cm

AD = 6cm

AC = *not given*

To Find:- Area of Triangle ABC.

Pythagoras Theorem will be applied here, i.e. In mathematics, the Pythagorean theorem, or Pythagoras's theorem, is a fundamental relation in Euclidean geometry among the three sides of a right triangle. It states that the area of the square whose side is the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares on the other two sides

NOTES:- Hypotenus is the longest side of the triangle. It is opposite to right angle》

Now a per the theorem, the formula will be:- H²=B²+S² { { H = Hypotenus }

{ B = Base }

{ S = The 3rd Side }

NOTE:- These letters given in the formula are given by me, so it would differ in ur T.B.》

Now, if we put the numbers in the Equation we will get the following:-

(12)² = (9)² + (x)²

144 = 81 + x²

144 - 81 = x²

63 = x²

root 63 = x

7.937 = x

Rounding of we will get 8cm as the answer.

Therefore, AC is 8cm

HOPE IT HELPS :)
