Hey there!!!

Here is the answer to your question...

AD is median of triangle ABC and median divides a triangle in two triangles of equal areas.
So, ar(ABD) = ar(ACD)
i. e. ar(ABD) = 1/2ar(ABC) ... (1)

Now, In triangle ABD,
BE is the median (as E is the midpoint of BE)
Again,
ar(BED) = ar(BEA)
i. e. ar(BED) = 1/2ar(ABD)
ar(BED) = 1/2×1/2ar(ABC)
ar(BED) = 1/4ar(ABC)
4ar(BED) = ar(ABC)

So, ar(ABC) = 4×10 sqcm
= 40cm^2

Hope it helps!!!
If so, please mark it as the brainliest...
