Explanation:

sum of three angles in a triangle is 180°

angle a + angle b = 90°

then angle b is = 90 - angle a

cot b = cosb/sinb = adj side / opp side

that means adj side= 3

and opp side = 4

that means b = 53° from triangle given in attachment

mate you have to remember that triangle

now angle a = 90 - angle b

= 90 - 53

angle a = 37°

tan a = opp side by adj side

tan a = 3/4
