In triangle ABC, DE parallel BC intersecting AB and AC at D and E.if AD= 9cm DB=12cm AE=6cm Find EC

By Basic Proportionality Theorem,

AD/DB = AE/EC
9/12 = 6/EC
EC = 6×12/9
= 72/9
EC = 8 cm
