In triangle ABC, right anglesd at B, AC= 20 cm and tan ∠ACb=3/4; calculate the measures of aB and BC.​

tan ∠ACB= \sf \frac{3}{4}

 \sf\frac{AB}{Bc}=\frac {3}{4}

Let AB=3x cm,

Therfore, BC=4x cm

 \sf \: AB^2+BC^2=AC^2

[Using pythagoras theorem]

 \sf \rightarrow{(3x)}^{2}  +  {(4x)}^{2}  =   {(20x)}^{2}

 \sf \rightarrow {25x}^{2}  = 400 \\  \\  \sf \implies \: x = 4

Therfore;

AB= 3x=3×4=12 cm

BC=4x=4×4=16 cm
