Thus ,

\frac{AD}{CD} =\frac{AB}{BC}

\frac{x-2}{x+2} =\frac{x}{x+5}

(x-2)*(x+5)=(x+2)*x

x^{2}-2x+5x-10 =x^{2}+2x

3x-10=2x

x=10

Thus the value of x is 10
