Given :  Δ PQR , PQ = 6 cm , PR = 8 cm , QS = 3 cm ,  PS is bisector of angle QPR

To find :   length of QR

Solution:

PS is angle bisector of ∠QPR

using angle bisector

PQ / QS  = PR/RS

PQ = 6 cm

QS = 3 cm

PR = 8 cm

RS = ?

=> 6/3  = 8/RS

=> RS = 4 cm

QR  = QS + RS

=> QR = 3 + 4

=> QR = 7 cm

Length of QR = 7 cm
