If 2 triangles are similar, then their corresponding sides will be in same proportion
i.e.,∆XYZ similar to ∆PQR
Therefore, according to above theorem
XY/PQ=YZ/QR=ZX/PR
or,12/PQ=8/QR=16/8
or,12/PQ=8/QR=2
or,12/PQ=2
or,PQ=12/2=6
or,8/QR=2
or,QR=8/2=4
Therefore,PQ+QR=6+4=10
i.e.,∆XYZ similar to ∆PQR
Therefore, according to above theorem
XY/PQ=YZ/QR=ZX/PR
or,12/PQ=8/QR=16/8
or,12/PQ=8/QR=2
or,12/PQ=2
or,PQ=12/2=6
or,8/QR=2
or,QR=8/2=4
Therefore,PQ+QR=6+4=10
