Given : Triangle xyz

xz=15 ,  ∠yzx  =30°, ∠yxz=60°

To Find : xy  and yz

Solution:

Sum of angles of a triangle is 180°

∠yzx  + ∠yxz  + ∠xyz  = 180°

=> 30° + 60°  + ∠xyz  = 180°

=> ∠xyz  =90°

Hence Triangle xyz us right angled at y

sin yxz  =  yz/xz

=> sin 60°  = yz / 15

=> √3/2 =  yz / 15

=> yz  = 15√3/2

cos yxz  =  xy/xz

=> cos 60°  = xy / 15

=> 1/2 = xy / 15

=>xy = 15/2

xy=15/2 and yz= 5√3/2
