Hey there !

Solution:

Parallax method is a method used for calculating the distance between far away objects with more ease.

Calculating Distance using Parallax:

Let us take a star as our distant object. So since it is a method used for approximation, it takes time for it's calculation. We know Earth revolves around the sun. So if we observe the star on January and again if we observe the star on June, we would see a great difference in the position.

This distance is called as the parallax distance. Now if we had observed that with a telescope, then there would have been a change in the angle of telescope. So this angle is taken in radians.

After all the required details are taken we can calculate the distance of the star by the parallax formula which is in the attachment.

D denotes the change of position of earth, 'd' denotes the distance between the star and the earth and θ denotes the change in angle ( in radians ).

Hope my answer helped !
