Elders those days lived in harmony with nature !!! v can see that in our previous generation there was very less pollution !!This is because they used to take proper care of the water bodies and plants because they were dependent on then !!
But at the same time Animals were used for transporatation!! and hence animals were used for many work !!

in the views of elders the plants were very well taken care in olden times as they were dependent on plants for thier daily usages and money as well as animals were also the ones on whom they were dependent and they all were taken cared.
