Hey

• In - Vitro fertilisation

:- It is atype of fertilisation in which fusion between sperm and ovum is done outside the female body , is known as in vitro fertilisation .

It is done outside the female body because

>> There may be any blockage in fellopian tube / oviduct in female which stops the meeting of ovum and sperm .

>> Fellopian tube may be removed by surgery .

It is done as :-

>> Af first the ovum is taken out the female body and soerm is taken frkm male and they are kept soerately in a favourable conditions .

>> They are then fused ( sperm and ovum ) in a test tube where the favourable conditions are provided .

>> Then the zygite so formed is allowed somtimes to develop in test yube and then that zygote is transplaned into female uterus where it gets concieved with placents for further growth .

thanks :)
