Cockroaches excretes their wastes from the liquids that they have internally, through the tubules of Malpighian. These wastes excrete as nitrogenous solid. Unlike other insects cockroach do not excrete these wastes in uric acid, it rather stored the excessive nitrogen inside it. This nitrogen is needed by them to make DNA and proteins.

The Blattabacterium vermin of cockroach converts the nitrogenous wastes into amino acids, essential for the survival of cockroaches. It can also produce other compounds like vitamins.
