Kidneys are mainly related with the liquid filtration process in our body and the the biological units of the kidneys are known as the nephrons.

The water and different salts mixed in that water (salts of Na+ and K+) are re-entered and re-absorbed by the nephrons for the further filtration process and urine generation process.
