After the 100th atomic number..All the other elements' group number can be checked by the formula (Group number = Given atomic number - 100)
So if Z is 101 == Group is 1
Z is 102 == Group is 2
Given Z is 118,So group number is 18.
Now to check for the period We know radon Z=86 is the last noble gas(It lies in the 6th period) And atomic number after it will lie in the 7th period.
