let the ratio of tea worth RS. 10 and 14 is x:y;

so average price is (10x+14y)/2 = 11;

10x + 14y = 22;

10:14 = x:y;

x = 10y/14;

putting this value in above equation we get

(100y/14) + 14y = 22;

100 y + 196Y = 318;

296y = 318;
